Bottom line:  In the state of California alone that represents approximately 6 1/2 million potential new customers FOR YOU!  But WAIT!  There is MUCH MORE!!!  Shortly after The Governor of California announced  his proposal, Pennsylvania announced their version of a similar plan.

Following is an excerpt from the San Diego Union Tribune:

"With less fanfare, Pennsylvania has proposed a similar step and a half-dozen more states are actively debating the idea." “If California, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts  prove it's doable – and Maine has already to some extent –  it will create an unstoppable momentum”.

The "momentum" referred to is similar to the momentum experienced 30 to 40 years ago visa-vie automobile insurance.  At the beginning of that pendulum swing almost no states in America required mandatory auto insurance.  As you know, the pendulum swung fully in the other direction and, today, nearly every state now requires it!

The same logic that was applied to auto insurance is now being used to sell these various proposals to their respective state legislatures; simply put:  Those who do not have health insurance are unfairly driving up costs for those who do.  When the current momentum ultimately sweeps from coast to coast the number of new prospective clients for we health insurance agents to service will jump to somewhere in the vicinity of:

45,000,000

How can you position yourself to do business with as many of these people as possible?
